Since 2002, Dura Dog beds have been setting the standard for durable, quality dog beds.  Each bed is constructed of the highest quality materials and with expert workmanship to create a dog bed that will endure.  Our unique design features set us apart from others.

Our beds may not be fancy or blend in with your imported duvet but they will be keeping your dog comfortable long after the final payment to your interior decorator.

Company Management

David Owens

Owner

David is the company founder.  As a new dog owner in 2002 he saw a need for a durable dog bed.  After several designs the Dura Dog bed was born.  Itasca Pet Products online store was created to share this bed with other dog owners.  Not long after that the beds were offered to pet supply retailers nationwide.

Product Inspiration

Lady 

She was instrumental in product research. She was our first dog and the one that ruined the most beds! Of course, we were young parents and purchased some "cute, soft" dog beds not realizing how much they had to endure. Lady taught us the value of a dollar and not to waste money on a bed that wouldn't last. Durability is her number one requirement.

Max 

We adopted Max from a local Humane Society. He was the clown of the troop - constantly playing and getting into trouble. Because he plays so hard, he also slept hard. Sadly, Max left us in 2007 due to an illness.

Maggie

She was a stray dog that showed up. She quickly realized the food and love was abundant at our house, and decided to stay. Her one bad habit is chewing - anything and everything! She is the brains behind our "double zipper" closures and our rounded corners.
